Wikipedia Link Type Distribution
This page tracks the distribution of different link types on Wikipedia. The numbers are based on the median count of internal links, external links, and interwiki links per page. Understanding these metrics can provide insights into Wikipedia's information structure. The data is complex to collect and classify, which is why it is rarely published. By analyzing link type distribution, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of how information is organized and connected on Wikipedia.
